Matthew, the CEO and co-founder of Clik, has over 20 years of experience in Telecom, Media and Technology, first as an investment banker in London working for Robertson Stephens, then as a hedge fund analyst working for Citadel, and now as an entrepreneur. He has experience in mobile payments, retail and real estate across emerging markets such as Myanmar and Cambodia.
In 2016 Matthew founded Clik, to deliver secure, seamless and smart payments at every touchpoint and transaction, being a cloud-based mPOS payment aggregator capable of enabling any digital payment (card schemes, wallets, direct from bank account). Smart payments, as we aim to provide businesses with consumer behaviour data insights beyond what is available online, as well as tools to act on this insight in order to sustainably grow profitability, offer a personalized customer experience, in state-of-the-art security while also enabling access to credit. Clik has a uniquely scalable data monetisation model.
He also holds a bachelor of science from Babson College (USA) and an MBA from INSEAD (France, Singapore).
